888-601-0701 Text Scam - Bank of America LOCKED

Scammers sending out fake Bank of America text messages like the one below, which appear to have been from telephone number 888-601-0701. The scam texts, which claim the recipients' accounts have been locked are being sent by cybercriminals who are attempting to trick their potential victims into calling them or Interactive Voice Response System that will ask them for account credentials, personal and financial information. Once the cybercriminals have stolen the information from their potential victims, they will use it fraudulently.
