The "Subscription Purchase From Microsoft" email below is a scam. The scam attempts to trick the recipients into believing they have made some subscription purchase from Microsoft and need to call technical support at one of the following numbers: 1-530-636-6269 or 1-661-522-8229. Therefore, recipients who have receive the fake email should not follow the instructions in it, they should just ignore it.

    The Microsoft scam contacted me yesterday for $399.00 saying My contract had run out and they were renewing it for $399.00. I was unaware of having anything like this. I believe it was a scam. So far I can't see where they have charged the $399.00 but I can't afford it. Please help with this scam.
