PayPal user users who received the "Paypal Restrictions" text message below, which claims their accounts have been restricted, are asked not to click the link in it. The fake text message is a scam being sent by cybercriminals to trick recipients into clicking the link in it, which goes to a phishing website that steals account credentials, personal and financial information. The phishing website, which made to look like PayPal's website, will attempt to trick into visitors into signing in and will ask them to submit their personal and financial information, but any attempt to do so, will send the requested information to the cybercriminals behind the phishing website.
Your PayPal is restricted. Please re-confirm your identity today or your account will be closed. hxxp://paypal.co.uk.ds8.top
If you have been tricked by the PayPal scam, please change your password and contact PayPal for help immediately.

Got one of such messages today, the first time. Deffo it was suspicious, so I went to the website and everything was fine. Phone messages and emails seem to be the main vehicle of phishing, so whatever the content of the message, do NOT click those links!
