Scamming - Fraud
The "Track My Parcel 05" text message below, which claims a delivery guy was at your door a couple of hours ago, is a scam. The fake text is being sent by scammers who are attempting to trick recipients into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a fake or phishing Royal Mail website that steals personal and credit card information. Therefore, recipients are asked not to follow the instructions in it.

I just received a text message from 253-350-5553 which reads as follows:"I have 2 wrong delivery attempts at your house (house icon) . Before we can try again, we need you to triple check your shipping details on the next page: trackmyparcel05.com/nqK7P"I called the phone number and it said that no voicemail had been set up yet. Probably a burner phone anyway.Fortunately, these people are so stupid they don't know how to write a proper English message about a FAILED rather than "wrong" delivery attempt.
I did get 2 mms messages yesterday from 504-421-1960. The message stated, "I have 5 failed delivery attempts at your address (picture of a house) then my name. Before we can retry, we need you to check your shipping details on the next page: trackmyparcel05.com/ziR6N"I responded," Delivery of what?, WHich company is it from and to which address are you trying to deliver?" Waited a bit and then said, "I have to report as fraud if you cannot answer."No response.. of course.
