The Costco text scam messages below are being sent by online scammers or cybercriminals. The aim of the scams is to trick recipients into clicking the links in them that go to fake and phishing websites that steal account credentials, personal, and financial information.

Recipients of the Costco text scams are asked not follow the intructions or click the link in them. They should post in them a comment below to share with others, report them to their cellphone provider and then delete them.

I modified just in case. Original url scanned on virustotal shows it as clean, but it is not. The link is a stepping stone.
I figure that sense I do not have any type of account with costco whatsoever, it's a scam big time.
