Scammers are sending Regions Bank Security Department text scams from, or asking recipients to call, 614-927-1692. But, 614-927-169 is not Regions Bank Fraud Department number. If you want to contact Regions Bank, go to their website at www.regions.com and search for their contact numbers instead of calling the fake 614 area code Regions Bank Fraud alert number.

I got a call from this number on 1.16.22. since I am not a Regions customer, I figured it was a scam and did not respond.
I got it this weekend and being a holiday I was unable to reach anyone at regions but as a new customer and being out of town needing my card I fell for it and provided the scammers with all info the asked for like a dummy ss# card# pin# security code and account #
Received a text stating Urgent: Call now 6149271692 FWH680TMN. Funny that I would get this because I'm not even a Regions customer.
