The letter claims Barclays Bank wants to give me money back from a credit card I had years ago. It then requested my bank details and claimed I have 30 days to provide the information. After lengthy checks etc I was passed to another dept and they talked me through the process of accessing the response form which was great. totally legit but it always pays to be wary and double check everything. good luckjeanan anonymous userhttps://www.onlinethreatalerts.com/users/#an-anonymous-userAug 2, 2022 by Is The 08081697786 Barclays Bank Letter Fraudulent?an anonymous user from: Greater Manchester, England, United KingdomI would double check that information given. If the letter arrived in a barclays envelope and the phone numbers in the letter belongs to barclays, easily checked on Google chances are it is genuine. After reading your letter yesterday I contacted the bank and after about an hour they confirmed it was genuine. I completed the form last night and today I discovered the money was credited to my account today. I would check again so you don't miss out on the payment.
