The email message below with the subject: "Government Legal Department, Unclaimed Property Division," which claims that the recipients have been identified as a distant relative of a deceased individual whose unclaimed property is in the possession of the Government, is an inheritance scam. The fraudulent email message was sent by scammers to trick their potential victims into sending them their personal information and money.
