Apple users who have received messages like the one below claiming there is something wrong with their devices, operating systems or software are asked to delete them. This is because the messages are fakes and the number (1-844-562-2344) the messages ask the recipients to call is a fake Apple Support number. Therefore, Apple users are asked not to call the number and should not follow the instructions in the messages.

The website hxxp://ios-security-breach.net is a fake Apple website. It has been created by cyber criminals to trick visitors into sending them their personal information, financial information and Apple credentials. Once the cyber criminals have gotten their potential victims’ information they will use it to gain access to their accounts and use them fraudulently.
Apple users who have already been tricked by the scam are asked to change their passwords and contact Apple for help.

It is like harassment--they are calling every hour and it is clearly fake.
Received Phone call stating supposed "Trouble with apple account". 12/29/2017 8:20 amAlways suspect something is not right when someone calls you to say something is not working?Disregarded this phone message. Eternal vigilance.
Have received three calls from a Chicago number that comes up as a local Apple store.I did not follow through with either talking to someone immediately or calling the 844 number. Annoying but I don't believe any harm has been done.
