The "Paid To Drive Concept by Colgate Toothpaste" Auto Car Wrapping Advertising Scam

The Paid To Drive Concept by Colgate Toothpaste Auto Car Wrapping Advertising Scam

The "Paid To Drive Concept by Colgate Toothpaste" auto car wrap or autowrapping advertising below is a scam. The scam claims that vehicle owners with a driver's license can be paid $500 or more weekly via check (cheque) to have their vehicle wrapped with an advertisement. The scammers behind this fraudulent scheme or scam will send you fake checks, ask you to take your share of the money and wire the rest to a graphic designer or give it to someone else. But, the checks are fakes and will bounce. The wired money will actually go to the scammers behind this fraudulent scheme. You will then be left to pay back the bank the wired amount and other charges associated with the processing of the check. Whenever you receive offers that are too good to be true, please do your research before participating, even if the offers seem legitimate.

I received a text message from Terry George at Colgate Toothpaste. His text number 551-233-1722. Then I receive an email from Terry. Email was ahsnkhn@gmail.com. His phone number on the email is 551-233-1722 (New Jersey).

Then I question him more to get more information. What we replied with was very short with no greeting or signature. I asked for a supervisor's name and number and he replied with a number of (786) 361-7835. (Miami, FL) He gets around.

Now today I received a check in the mail for $2,150.00 from M&T Bank out of Baltimore, MD. The name on the check is DLA Piper US LLP Operating Account. And this company is a Lawyer's office in Dallas, TX.

I have already filed a complaint with our local USPS Inspector, the FTC and Consumer Affairs. The check is a fraud. I'm not THAT stupid! BEWARE! Sher
