The "Stripe Payment Disputed as Fraudulent" Scam

The fake Stripe email below, which claims a payment has been disputed as fraudulent, is a scam. The fake email is being sent by online scammers who are attempting to trick their potential victims into clicking on the link in it. The link goes to a fak Stripe website that will ask visitors to sign-in. But, any attempt to sign-in will send the visitors' credentials to the online scammers. The scammers will then use the stolen credentials to gain access to their potential victims' accounts and use them fraudulently.

The card holder disputed this charge with their bank, and the bank decided to return the payment to them. This amount and a $15.00 fee will be deducted from your account within a day. You may be able to recover your funds by responding to the dispute.
