Beware of "Smile Train Donation" Scams Being Sent by Scammers

Would you share this article with others?

SmileTrain does not send out emails requesting donations and asking recipients to respond with their personal information. Therefore, recipients of fake emails, like the one below, are asked not to follow the instructions in them. This is because the fake emails are being sent by scammers who are posing as representatives from Smile Train, a 501 organization and charity providing corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.

If you want to make a donation to Smile Train, always go to their website at https://www.smiletrain.org/ to do so.

Changing The World One Smile At A Time.

Hello,

Happy Day!

We are a large-heart Charity Organization.

Smile Train is an international children’s charity that provides 100%-free cleft repair and brain surgery to children in 85+ developing countries.

Our sustainable model empowers local doctors to provide brain surgery in their own communities.

Millions of children in developing countries suffer in diseases and live in isolation, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing, hearing, and speaking.

As a result of our efficiency and with the support of our donors and partners around the world, Smile Train has transformed the lives of millions of children around the world.

Approximately 158 operations are successful per day!

We bring smile to the faces of the hopeless!

Please join us and help change the world, one smile at a time. Your generosity is most needed now, no amount is small.

We count on your kindness only. Bless these poor souls with a little gift from your heart.

They depend on our generosity for these surgeries.

Our donations are sent directly to these countries. We also accept bitcoins.
