This fee also covers all uniforms, testing materials and any other state or federal requirements that may be required pertinent to your specific job, positions and/or duties. I have attached a list of disqualifying offenses that prohibits employment in all US airports. If your background restricts your employment here at FedEx, we will refund your credit/debit card within 3 business days. Unfortunately, the Criminal History Records Check is mandatory regardless of previous background checks or security clearances. This is required by law.

Employee ID #49241 is the EXACT same one they gave me. Hahahahahaha! If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. It's that simple.

Myself and a friend of mine got the same letter. We both sent in almost $100 for a criminal background check. They were for airport employment for Fed-Ex and DHL. The orientation date came and went without a word from the signer of the letter. I have found out that on my letter, from a Peter Durant, that when you google Peter Durant from Fed-Ex, you get a Fed-Ex location in Durant OK. Very Clever! I called my credit card company and cancelled the charge. I will be writing a letter to the BBB and the States Attorneys General office.

Got me through PayPal.. I hope my bank will stop the payment

I got the same letter at 12:28 AM. When I saw the $98 fee, I just felt it is a scam. I used to work in IT and I can smell this scam from a long way out.

Same! I just received the email today, and the reg flag went up immediately. It just sounds too good to be true. Not to mention that I have never interviewed with FedEx.

Same letter almost fell for it untill I search it

I got the same.

I recieved that exact email. I should have known when they spoke about orientation and we didn't even do an interview. The email gave a tight window for responding as I've been out of work due to the pandemic I wasn't thinking straight I feel so dumb right now.

They got me as well, got hired for a job as a Floral Designer, left telling them that I would be stated with DHL, sent the 98.00 dollars for what, got scammed.

I got phished ! Stupid me fell for it!

Just got the same email and verbatim it’s word for word and I’m in Saint Louis and glad I didn’t send anything off

I received an email from Paul Wagner the scam and criminal recruitment director for DHL who request my information including my social security number but God was on my side that I decided to such the company information and luckily for me, I discovered it was a scam. my advice to everyone who is in such for a job please investigate properly before you give your personnel information to any employer most especially on electronic media.

well ...I took this from a friends facebook...so that was my fault...but why can't good things come our way....at least we are communicating the false advertising so someone doesn't continue to make money.....and why is this scam continuing....

I received the exact email yesterday for O'Hare Airport Chicago. I'm glad I did my research as I was about to send in the money. It did seem somewhat real as I've worked with a catering company at Chicago O'Hare and did require for fingerprints and background check, but never had to pay as companies pay for it. Thanks for sharing this information and so the ones that do their research can be aware and not fall for this scam.

I just got the same email for the DHL for Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta GA... So glad I didn’t fill out anything

I thought I was the only one that fell for the scam. The ad I saw on Creigslist stated they were paying $29.41 an hour to drive a shuttle bus. I worked for a shuttle bus company in HawaiI a few years ago and they paid nothing close to that.

Before I sent the money, I kept saying ,"what do you have to do for that kinda money?"

Bottom line folks, if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is to good to be true.

I fell for it I sent in the money for the background check.
It had stated the job was at Huntsville airport in Huntsville Alabama
And theyople are attending.And the orientation might be held at Chattanooga pending how many people are attending.
I feel so dumb right now.

Being in a financial pinch, I almost believed them, until I decided to look up the possibility of this being a scam. If it were not for this notification, I would have been disappointed and embarrassed. THANK YOU for providing an excellent service.

They almost got me but they offer too much money to start.

I have worked for dhl express before the pay is consistent with their pay but I didn’t have to pay the last time I work for them. I almost fell for it until they asked for money and then I was like that’s not right. I got the exact same notice for Dallas airport location.

They tried this scam on Craigslist/Columbia, SC. Coming to a Craigslist near you soon!

I was scammed with above letter. I also sent my 100.00 dollars for my background check.

I clicked on a job listing on Craigslist for a construction job. I was stupid enough to follow the link inside the listing to an online job form and filled it out with my personal information. I then received text messages regarding the application being accepted and the email mentioned above. I knew it was a scam at this point. I texted STOP as a response to what I believe were automated messages. Shortly afterwards, I received an email from Uber stating that I requested a password change. The scammer has my email/name and is trying to mess with me. Watch out.

Got one in Denver, same info as others. Very fishy, asking for money before orientation,

I got a email job offer for $29 an hour from DHL here in Albuquerque posted on Craiglist so glad I looked it up before duped into this scam
