The free car history check website, cargb.uk, is untrustworthy. The website is a clone of freecarcheck.co.uk. If you enter a fake or invalid registration plate on cargb.uk, the website will return results blurred out and ask you to pay £0.95 to see it. If you enter the same fake or invalid registration plate on freecarcheck.co.uk, that website will tell you that the plate is invalid and will not display any bogus results.
Cargb.uk is a newly created website. It was registered on 2020-11-3.

I guess this is the same site with a changed url https://caruk.uk/ its the same site please avoid its a scam
I have just fallen for this and paid the 0.95p with my credit card. has anyone else paid and if so did you get your money back?
I had exactly the same as above.I always have hassle when ever I advertise a car on Gumtree! :(
There is a new iteration of it called caruk.uk. Just been contacted by bogus “buyer” in response to my ad saying they want the car but before they come and see if they want a report from this specific website 🤷🏼♂️
