Same exact thing happened to me with tracking info and weight. I ordered a garden trellis. PayPal will not return my money. What do I do?
Probably too late since this was posted months ago. But you can contact UPS with the tracking number they gave you and ask them to email you a document which lists the person and address where that package was delivered. It will not match your name and address since it will be some other person in your city. You then have to forward this email to your PayPal case worker and then they will refund you. I know, PayPal sure makes us do a lot of work to get our money back after we've been scammed by someone using their service.
I ordered a 10 inch full memory foam mattress... Said it was shipped UPS and left on porch..So when does a mattress weigh a half a pound?
Creelcate is an absolute scam. Purchased an item and never received any order confirmation whatsoever. I submitted a claim to Paypal (the method I used to pay for the item) and that very night received a shipping notification. Turns out that they used a tracking # of an item that was already in transit to someone else in my city to get the Paypal payment to clear. This is a technique that scammers have been using for a few years as some services, like Paypal, will not release payment to them until they "ship" the item. Needless to say, I didn't receive any package whatsoever and I'm hopeful Paypal will help me recover my money.
Same here in New Jersey, I ordered 25lbs chlorine, they provided PayPal a tracking number in my area 10lbs,, p****d.. SCAM!!
