Wallpaper15 Scam Text Message Subscription - Wallpaper 15

I received the following text in Norway:

I accidently clicked on the link and it says click to unsubscribe, that was 't possible.

I received a text from 351936865328 with a suspicious link. The name would be wallpaperbf.com

Also received SMS from 351934777640

I accidentally clicked on it but immediately left am I in danger

Once you didn't submit your account credentials or financial information, you should be ok.

Same for me today. No number so I just sent the text showing the name to 7726 & deleted the message.

Further to my previous message. The text came without a number so couldn’t report to 7726. However, I have set up a contact entitled Spam and save all these types of message to that so I can block them. I saved this one and blocked it and the number has appeared on my block number list as: 44 7786 306282.

A variation on this came through to me today. First name but this time from a 'wallpaperya' same £50/a week scam attempt. Didn't click but couldn't find number they seem to have made it so their number seems like a legit company as no way to report as spam to phone provider

I had one today from wallpaperya like others they have hidden contact details so can’t use 7726 scam service. Exactly the same text just from wallpaperya. Worrying that they could use Apple Pay so have deleted my card and informed the bank but will be looking at my bank account regularly.

Hello - received a version of this today, but now is Wallpaperya rathe than Wallpaper15 but exactly the same link and text

Received today at 9:59 am. When trying to view the number it was sent from it appears they have worked out a way of hiding it. Going into their sender info comes up blank. I deleted and blocked the contact. The scariest thing is how they know our names!

I clicked the link do I have to do anything to protect my details/account etc ... I can't believe I fell for it !!

I got the same text and have commented earlier but can anyone tell me how they know our names? Do we need to change passwords etc. I wonder how many people have actually opened the back details on the link, not knowing it is a scam.

I clicked on the link 🤦🏼‍♀️ It then takes you to Apple Pay to double click the side of you phone to ‘cancel’ it stated the cost as £0.00. I didn’t double click though so hopefully I didn’t go

Received exactly same message, thankfully didn’t click link, 07704 026220 was the number. I believe my details could have only come from Facebook or WhatsApp as they called me a name that I only use on those platforms.

Received 28/02/2022. Used my name and said I was subscribed to 'wallpaper15' for £50/week. Telephone number 07394516246.

I received this scam link at 2.57 in the morning . I spoke to my network provider and she advised me to click on the link to cancel which I did try to do. My phone provider kept asking if I had subscribed to something by mistake, which I told her I hadnt to be honest my network provider worried me more thinking I had done something and wasnt very helpful. I then spoke to my bank who advised me I should never click on a link like this and has put a block on any monies going out of my account. The number the link came from was 07763 983352 and even used my name

I got this today reported to action fraud as they had my name same message as above number 07871670435 I don't do online ordering or banks and I'd never click on a link random my number has a changeable rate so they should be charged for texting me :)

The number they text me from is 447871670624 addressed me by name. I had someone ring me last week and said they had my mum and addressed me by first and last name. My mum is fine and safe. Too many scammers about

Yes, I got the text - they addressed me by my name ( where did they get my name from?) freaked me a bit so I opened the link which took me to bank details - I didn’t click on that though.

What if I already opened the link ? What do I do then?

If you did not submit any financial or account credentials, then you should be ok.
