The fake PayPal email invoice below, which claims the recipients made a purchase and are asked to call 1-877-747-1291 or 1-833-481-9292, is a scam. The telephone numbers are also fakes, they are not associated with PayPal. The scam aims to trick potential victims into calling the telephone number, which will connect them to a call center operated by scammers. The scammers will pretend to be PayPal customer service representatives and attempt to trick the potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
