The website, securitypatch.life, is a fake antivirus website that pretends to be McAfee and claims to scan potential victims' computers for viruses. It them claims their computers are infected with viruses in order to trick them into visiting the fake and phishing McAfee website to purchase a subscription.
If potential victims attempt to purchase the so-called subscription on the fake website they were taken to, their credit card information will be stolen and used fraudulently.
Therefore, if you were tricked by the Securitypatch.life scam into purchasing a subscription or disclosing your credit card information, please contact your bank for help. Let them know you unknowingly used your credit card information on a phishing website disguised as McAfee.
