My wife got one as well. I thought it was a scam when I read it, but I wasn't sure; the messages I see here confirm that it's bogus. Many thanks to the person who posted the original question!
Got mine today...$11.5M; real estate investor and precious stone dealer; died 3 years ago - must claim in 2-3 years; alternate email address is Gmail; etc.Website has no photos for legal team members - in fact, no full face photos anywhere, Chicago area address but mailed from Canada, etc.Good thing I am able to eschew the $11.5M.
Nice try guys! Website looks good and might fool man. Forget this scam!
Scam: My last name is unique, so the name they made up for "Dr. Marcus ..." is 100% bogus
I just got the same... "Dr Marcus" with my UNIQUE LAST NAME...Thank you ALL!
I got my letter also! It is a stupid scam! Ignore!
Same here - All of the above...total obvious scam
Me too got my letter February 1 11,550,300. SCAME!Read it close the man has been dead for 3 years but the insurance money must been given to the state if unclained for 2 years. Also your name and the Late client is in bold type.
Received letter today, all the points same as above.
I got the same. Website looks good but some links don't work and there are spelling errors. Likely they want your personal info including bank accounts so that they can make a big withdrawal.
Just received mine yesterday . Exact same bs: 11.5 Millions, deceased relative, 10% to charity, 50/50 split, highly confidential, Eric West
