Fraudulent Email - This local Mom is making About 7k a Month, Why cant WE be

A few minutes ago, I got an e-mail message which tried to trick me into visiting the malicious website: www.cnbc18home.com. The e-mail message claims that people can make up to $250 per day and has this link: "CNBC-LINK-SHARE- *CLICK HERE*," which points to the website: www.cnbc18home.com. It also states that there is an article on CNBC about this new method of making money.

I have searched www.cnbc.com and Facebook.com but did not find any article about this news story.

CNBC-LINK-SHARE- "CLICK HERE"

When I clicked on the link in the e-mail message (you should not do this), I was taken to www.cnbc18home.com which took me to two online advertisements and a malicious website. I was never taken to a news article on cnbc.com or Facebook.

I was taken to a Casino App on Facebook, a popular hotel booking website and a malicious URL that my Anti-virus blocked and classified as "Spyware and Malicious".
