The fake anti-virus displays a false report of viruses, Trojans and other malicious programs on your computer and then asks you to pay for an upgrade to remove these malicious programs from your computer.

The fake anti-virus software will prevent you from visiting antivirus websites, block you from using Task Manager and Registry Editor in order to prevent you from removing it from your computer.
