There are fake and malicious Java websites that will infect your computer with a virus, spyware or Trojan horse. So, if you are asked to download, upgrade, or install Java on your computer while browsing the internet from any other websites except www.java.com, please do not. There are malicious websites or advertisements that will attempt to trick you into downloading and installing malicious programs disguised as Java updates or upgrades.
