Jurassic Front Survival Discord Scam
Jurassic Front Survival Discord Scam

The "Jurassic Front Survival" Discord scam involves fake accounts and compromised users sending unsolicited direct messages to lure players into joining specific servers or downloading unverified files. These scams are used to steal personal data, hijack Discord accounts, or commit financial fraud through aggressive monetization and phishing tactics.

How the Scam Operates

  • The "Accidental" DM: You receive a message from someone pretending to be a friend or a stranger, striking up a casual conversation to build trust.
  • The Pitch: They eventually ask if you play the game "Jurassic Front: Survival" or other similar titles (like "De-Extinct: Jurassic Dinosaurs").
  • The Trap: They may send you invite links to scam servers or ask you to download playtest files. Doing so can infect your device, scrape passwords, and take over your Discord account.
  • Pig Butchering: Some users have reported this acting as a "pig butchering" scam, where scammers build a relationship to extract financial information or push you into aggressive pay-to-win purchases.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Never click suspicious links sent by strangers or friends unless you can verify through another communication channel that they actually sent it.
  • Do not download unverified files or execute "playtest" zip files, as they often contain malware designed to hijack accounts and steal passwords.
  • Report the malicious users or servers through Discord's official Trust and Safety Form.
