Beware of "Email Box Is fillied Increase Within 72 Hours" Phishing Email Scam

The email message below: "Email Box Is fillied Increase Within 72 Hours," which is filled with bad grammar, is another fake and a phishing scam. The email message was sent by cyber-criminals and not by the recipients' email providers. The fake email message was created to trick the recipients into clicking on the link within it in order to take them to a fake or phishing website (www.visibilityz.com), designed to steal their email accounts' username and password, which they (cyber-criminals) will use to hijack their accounts.

The email message claims that the recipients' mailbox are almost full and they need to click on a link in order to increase their storage capacity, or else their email accounts will be disabled . But, clicking on the link in the email message, will only take you to a fake or phishing website that will ask you to sign-in with your email username and password, which will be sent to the cyber-criminals behind the scam.

Once they have your email account credentials, they use it to hijack your account and use it for fraudulent purposes. This includes using your email address to send spam or malicious email messages.

If you have already followed the instructions in the email message and have entered your email account user name and password on the fake website, please change your email account's password immediately.

To avoid getting tricked by these phishing scams, never click on a link in an email message to sign into your account. Always go to your email account sign-in page and sign into your account from there.
