Beware of "Upgrade from Classic Version of Sky Mail to a New Version" Phishing Scam

The email message below, which appears as if it came from Sky Mail is an attempt by scammers to trick Sky Mail users into submitting your account information or credentials on a fake Sky Mail website. The information submitted will then be sent to the scammers behind the email messages, who will use it to hijack the victims' accounts.

The Fraudulent Sky Mail Email Message


The Classic version of SKY Mail will be replaced by our new version on 24th FEB 2015. So it's time to upgrade, before you lose your email access.

When you upgrade your SKY Mail

Your email service won't be affected and you'll keep all your old contacts, folders and messages. Plus you'll get:

If you have received a copy of the email message or something similar, please do not follow the instructions in the message or click on any of the links in the email message. The best time to do is to sign into your account, and if there is an upgrade, it will be displayed to you in your account.

Remember, never click on a link to sign into or upgrade your online accounts. If you were tricked into clicking on the link in the email message, please change your Sky Mail password immediately.

Note: Some of the names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers in email samples on this website may have been impersonated.
