Therefore, Facebook users who come across apps that claim they can show them who are viewing their profiles or posts, are advised to report them to Facebook.

Facebook users who have installed the malicious app, which are created by cybercriminals, will constantly receive messages with links to spam websites that will trick them into purchasing fake services and goods, and links to phishing websites that steal Facebook account credentials, credit card information, personal information, and other online account credentials. The malicious app may also attempt post the same malicous messages to the Facebook users' friends.
