I bought from the site and they have taken an unauthorized amount of money from my credit card, what should I do, turn to the bank?

    • December 4, 2017 at 3:55 PM by an anonymous user from: Dysart, Ontario, Canada

I just cancelled my credit card because I tried to check the status of my order and the website no longer exists. I then looked up my transactions and saw that there were 2 charges. 1 was for the product (and was far more than I'd agreed to) and the other was for a charge I did not make. What p*sses me off is that I am usually very careful when it comes to online purchases. This will never happen again.

  • November 29, 2017 at 1:02 AM by an anonymous user from: Lusaka, Zambia

I too suffered the same loss on November 24th. I bought pots and a coffee maker totalling 138 dollars and the transaction out if my bank was over $170 dollars and a few seconds later another transaction if $150 hit my account.. I immediately phoned my bank who blocked my card so the third transaction didn't go through.

No tracking number was issued just a payment confirmation on the website and not to my email. I later checked my account on the site only to find a message " payment failed" on my order.

The bank said I email and they would follow up. I also tried to email the store but got a return on the email address saying it didn't exist. I immediately knew it was a scam.

  • November 28, 2017 at 5:14 AM by an anonymous user from: Nicosia, Cyprus

On Sunday 25th of nov, I ordered from this company. The amount was 94.98 dollars. They took from my account 103.37. A few minutes later I received a message from my visa to contact them immediately. I did and was told that a withdrawal attempt was made 6 seconds after the 103.37 euros were withdrawn which made them suspicious. They blocked my card so no more money can be withdrawn but the first 103.37 euro I have to look into it with my bank.

I thought that because it said google trusted store and was on facebook the co was legit. This will discourage buyers to buy online. I believe that the legit co. should make efforts for these cybercriminals be punished.
