Bargain City Store operates by selling you a low-priced item (in my case, I purchased some food wrap for zero dollars and only had to pay for shipping), and then they sneak in (in very small print designed to be hidden) a lifetime membership fee (mine was for $59.95GB equivalent to over $80 Canadian dollars). When I discovered the unexpected charge on my credit card, it was unfortunately too late to qualify for a refund, despite all my best efforts. As a result, I now have an unwanted "lifetime membership" to Bargain City Store. To make matters worse, they later started billing me an additional "monthly membership" fee of $9.63/month - despite the fact that they already charged me for a "lifetime membership".This company is in the business of getting you to sign up for membership fees without you knowing. If you want to be a member in their online store, great! But if you just wanted to purchase a low-priced item, then be aware that you'll be paying for more than you bargained for.
I had the same problem; ordered the oven mat product with just shipping to pay and was offered a free item to go with it, then got charged another $9.95 shipping and they tried the $49.95 charge as well.Stopped this in time and got a "Sorry to see you are not taking up this offer" email. After weeks had passed, I asked where were the products and got an answer from Kenn that they needed my address again to send. I resent my address and weeks have passed so I assume I have been scammed.
We've ordered a silicone ovenmat (only transport to pay). The item never arrived but in the mean time they took 59,95 USD of our credit card for an annuel subscription. (we've never asked for) Sending emails to complain comes back with the mention undelivered.Their phone number is not working. Miss mertens from belgium
I have the same problem...I wrote them via facebook. But I think my money are out...
Bargaincitystore.com or bargaincityshop is definitely a scam website. They get you with a cheap offer but the product is 1/5 of the size shown in the photos.Worse still their long email ends with fine print saying you will be charged 49.95 USD after 30 days. I had to call them to cancel and luckily I managed to do so on the 30th day. SuperSavingz or shipvip.info is a similar site, they charged me 59.95 USD even before 30 days was up!
The same happen to me.How did you manage to get your money back?
