Is Dixon Leather a Trustworthy Online Store?

Dixon Leather at dixon-leather.com is the epitome of bad business. I placed an order a month and a half ago and I got notification just today that it's just shipping today. In fact, it's coming from China, and now from the Nashville, TN, so now I can rest assured I'm getting some cheap quality goods jacked up in price by this sleazy company. I tried to contact Dixon Leather when the items I ordered should have been shipped, and also when I should have received them, and both times I was told the items were shipping very soon which they did not ship for another month.

I eventually decided to cancel my order but this company decided to deny my cancellation request, although they didn't ship for an entire month later. I had to open a dispute with my bank over the transaction and no doubt the items shipped a week later purely because of this.

I'm sure had I not started a claim with my bank, they would have outright stole my money. This is a Chinese based company that is not based in Tennessee like their website claims, and that will not meet any of their estimated shipping and handling times.

If you want to take a chance of losing your money by purchasing from a company that has been dishonest in every way conceivable, then, by all means, be my guest. They did not substantiate even one of their claims and I will be sure to avoid them like the plague. Hopefully, they get shut down for performing this type of business, providing purely false information and fake support, all at the customers' expense.

    Do not order from this company! Total junk. The belt I ordered was advertised as 100% leather and what I got was two strips of plastic glued together and the buckle fell apart after two weeks. The company asked me to send photos and then agreed to send me a replacement, but it never came! Nothing but crickets when I try and contact them.

    I definitely would not do any business with this company! They are very slow, hard to contact, you can't cancel your order and the shipments come from China. I am pondering the use of my State's Attorney General for help with my complaint.

    Actually, these are nice jackets, Not sure if good leather but I love the 2 jackets I have. Really for the price you cant beat it. These jackets are not the thick style like the real biker jackets, but they are comfortable and have that broken in look..Takes forever to receive coming from china but worth the wait..

    Fake leather and they are not closing. Before I found all the reviews, I ordered two jackets. Absolutely horrible quality and looks really bad in person, nothing like the pictures. For the closing portion, they have been saying closing for over a year now, so this is just a marketing gimmick.

    Do not purchase from that company, plastic instead of leather. Definitely a product from China.

    What a complete SCAM and false advertising, DO NOT SHOP HERE! they state real leather jackets at a great price, but in reality they are 100%PU and comes with a nasty smell, when contacted they do not even apologise, they came back with the statement "hundreds of people enjoy our product"! they did refund me but did not cover the postage back to them, again they stated "we posted for free so no refund for you" pack of lying mongrels, do not know how they are allowed to trade under false pretences...

      I purchased a jacket and it did not fit. I am trying to return it but getting a refund seems to be impossible. They offered me 40% back for me to keep it and give it to some one. they said it would make a make a nice gift. I couldn't believe it. It's going back! Just not sure where to send it.

    I purchased a jacket from Dixon Leather... What a fake looking piece of c**p. Now the fun part is trying to return it, they are politely rude and hard to deal with. Once this is done I will never be suckered in to buying anything from them again..

    I bought what was supposed to be a leather motorcycle jacket, totally disgusted with the jacket not a thread of leather just plastic. Wouldn’t wear on a cycle let alone a motorcycle.

    Typical SCAM from China. I ordered 2 jackets with discount of 75% through Instagram advertisement as a closeout sale. Total cost is $135 or so.

    Yesterday I have received a tiny package on which it's written "Jacket", inside there is a wallet.

    My shipping labels for jackets on their order still says "Shipping label created" (means not even shipped).

    When I asked the support where are the jackets I ordered and why did I get a wallet instead they replied that it's a gift due to delays in shipping and that yesterday they delivered the jackets and I should look around or ask my neighbors where are they.

    So typical SCAM I will cancel through CC company.

    I saw this site pop up on Facebook and I went to the contact page and the address has changed since you wrote this article. They claim to be located in Kentucky now which I did a google search and their company doesn't show up.

    Everything here that says AVOID BY ALL MEANS is true. I got conned into buying cheap leather but it’s really Faux Leather. Women’s sizes are very faulty as you can see in the photos of the jackets they look long and lean. I ordered size S but it felt like a large on the sleeves, overstretched sleeves, and extra long sleeves.

    I wanted a refund and after emails back & forth they offered 35% refund and “I keep the jacket”. I declined their offer since I’ve realized there was nowhere to return the jacket in the USA but for me to return back to China. I have called my credit card to dispute this charge because of this uncanny business practice. The jacket was $63 so it was all too good to be true. Don’t waste your money.

    WORTH LESS Company... couldn't get a small item that I ordered to me,

    took over 70 days to get the company to email and say the item was LOST in shipping and now WILL NOT REFUND ME!

    Been sending emails to get a refund and no one will reply of get a refund...BUT

    they are trying to fight and keep the money...all of $11.

    DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOUWANT TO WASTE MONEY!

    DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I order a jacket and shoes. The jacket was the worse quality in the market and the sticking all coming off.

    The shoes? I received a tracking notification from China. They are buying ordering product from China and acting like this is USA leather. I contact the company and provided them photos and videos of the product. They never got back to me.

    Please do not waste your money.

    I saw an advertisement on Facebook from Dixon Leather store closing sales of genuine quality leather products. I purchase about 4 products, a total of $109.62. I expected to receive quality genuine leather products as it was advertised on Facebook and on Dixon Leather website at the time I was purchased. The product I received was not genuine leather, it's made of cheap fake plastic material and the product has a very bad chemical smell, I'm worried it will cause a bad reaction to my health.

    The shoe does not fit me even I ordered to my correct shoe size.

    Please go to the websites below to see other customers reported regarding Dixon Leather fault advertisement and bad business practice. Also note, when I did a search of Dixon Leather business address, it seems to be a fake business address.

    I also have tried to contact Dixon Leather to request a return of the products for a full refund due to fault advertisement and the product was not the correct size. Dixon Leather did not reply to my emails as a person but just an automatic email with default messages.
