A number of wireless customers are complaining about receiving multiple incoming calls from France from area code +33. These calls appear to be similar to the Missed or One-ring scam calls. Missed or One-Ring Scam, also called the "Wangiri Scam," is a fake phone call used to trick the recipients into calling back international phone numbers that are premium pay-per-minute services that the recipients will be charged for.

The money collected via the premium pay-per-minute services will be paid over to the scammers unless the scam is detected and shut down by the callers' service providers. The danger of these scams are not receiving the phone calls, but calling back the phone numbers. Therefore, recipients of missed calls from the same telephone numbers are advised not to call back.
Since returning calls to unknown international numbers can be costly and it is advised that consumers exercise caution when they receive a missed call from unknown overseas telephone number. They should unknown internation calls go to voicemail, if it is a genuine call, the person will leave a message.

I have received multiple calls from 33 numbers in one day they called from different numbers as I blocked evertime. Fking scum scammer.
Just had a call from 33 7 06 20 38 78 witha recorded message saying my membership was coming to an end and need to pay £77.00, press 1 if I want to renew or Press 2 to cancel, I did neither and blocked the number.
I got a call on my cell phone early in the morning from 33 6990057734. I didn't pick it up. They did not leave a voicemail. Probably a scammer.

Had six of these disruptive calls come in overnight. I didn't dare call back. Figured it was a scam. Does this need to be reported to the FCC?
