I called the number and it said that my Debit card was locked, which I knew was untrue.
Just received this text from 931-286-3074 appearing to come from ATT informing me of an unsuccessful payment. I am on automatic payment through Visa. This is apparently a scam.
I just got as well. just now I pay my AT&T bill automatically on a credit card on the 14th of each month.I called the number and they asked for debit card number. I hung up and reported them.My AT&T bill paid yesterday and my balance is zero.
Same!! I didn’t call the number though. I mean I paid my bill yesterday on the 14th, account balance is zero, and the money definitely came out of my account, so sorry not taking my money!
My husband and I both got this message, mine last night, his this morning. When doing a reverse look up of the phone number on “Fast People Search.com” it came back to Ronald Abston, in Crossville, TN. Our payment was made and cleared our bank ten days ago.Scam!
Just got this text. I knew it had to be a scam.
I received this text at 9:01 pm. I knew it was a scam because I paid my bill directly to ATT, and received a confirmation number. Do not call that number.
I just wanted to let you know about this scam. I received this text even though I definitely paid my bill (and it has posted to my bank account).This is also suspicious because it comes from a 931 area code which is the area code for the locations about an hour away from me and not at all near an ATT customer service center. I got the message at 2:41 this morning. IT IS A SCAM!
Been paying online for years with no problems- do not call this scam!
Received this text at 1130 pm on a Friday. I paid/payment cleared weeks ago on my internet and cell. They are a piece of work. Don’t click the hyperlink or call or respond bots are scamming poor people.
They sent me the text message at 4:00 am. Do not call this number! Total scam!
