They requested a $1 fee to verify you. They give an explanation that the $1 is only for verification purposes to who they will be sending the list. There is no easily seen verbiage to inform you that you are signing up for a monthly service fee of $29.97. They will bill you without a statement or any indication this will occur. About Kids Live SafeContact numbers:1-800-301-59051-800-276-69401-800-601-05151-800-835-2932Address: 3905 State St. #7228, Santa Barbara, CA 93105Hours of Operation:Monday - Sunday from 5am to 9pm PT.>I have called to cancel my service with them and ask about the $29.97 charge to my credit card. At that point, they mentioned that I had signed up for a 7-day trial. They said that they had emailed the information of the trial. I did not see this email but regardless, this information should be upfront. They needed to have mentioned that it was part of the $1 charge.I am disappointed in how they acquire customers. I have participated in many trials from various companies. Some of which I have continued with and some that I haven't. I have always known that I am signing up for a trial. The fact that this company does not make it straight forward is very misleading. Check the comment section below for answers or additional information. Review and ComplaintinfoIn order to become a member of their 7 day trial membership, you MUST click a box that confirms that you understand our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are clear and spell out that if you don’t cancel your trial membership within 7 days you will be automatically enrolled into their family protection monthly subscription for only $29.97 per month. But, I guess, like me, alot of people did not bother to read the Terms and Conditions because it is too long.Going forward, Kidslivesafe should place a message on their registration or signup page briefly telling users they will be charged after the trial, if they do not cancel.
