A Twitter user claims there is a free Proofcam 107 dashcam promotion, which allows customers to receive the £99.99 camera for £0. He instructed other users to go to proofcam.com, search for "rac107 cam, £99.99", select the dashcam, go to the payment screen and enter the DASHCAM107 promo discount code. I have followed his instructions but it did not work for me. I have seen screenshots of other users showing that they got a confirmation email showing their total moving from £99.99 to £0. So, is this a scam or not?
If you want a free dashcam, go to Proofcam on the interwebs. Search for the rac107 cam, £99.99. Type details in, go to the payment screen, and type in DASHCAM107 into the promo, and it’s free!
It seems no one knows if this is a scam. I have sent an email to Proofcam and waiting for a response to determine if it is a scam or just a system glitch. I attempted to order one and the money was taken from my bank as I selected Apple Pay and didn’t get the option to add the code - have emailed the company and no response!
The same thing happened to me 😭 they said I would receive a refund within 30 days, I haven't. I am taking it further!
I belive it was genuine and that you only got one for taking out insurance with RAC. If it were cross checked with RAC and no name on approved insurance list it was cancelled.
I have had my order cancelled.I think it’s been used for data theft 😡
Same for me. Ordered a few days ago. SMS overnight to say order cancelled
I used the code and it worked initially but then yesterday got an email to say order cancelled shame

Got given this information and ordered it. Had email saying it was successful.Then today email out the blue saying it was cancelled.
Someone told me so I ordered it and today had a email saying order cancelled.
Same happened to me, had confirmation email and then an email 2 days later cancelling order
