There are similar walmart.org pandemic relief scams, if you get a text out of the blue claiming $1200, $1600, or other benefits are available it's more than likely a scam. I get them almost every day. Today I got one from (315) 273-8370 claiming that I can apply for $1200 in pandemic relief from Walmart.org. It went straight to a page to fill in all your personal info. The page looked legitimate with the Walmart logo and everything, but if you click on the 3 lines in the corner to open the menu, or the search icon, it did nothing, it was just a screenshot of a walmart page with fill in the blank type questions with all your info. They're getting pretty good at prying at personal info.

Seemes obvious scam to me.
But bringing up message details were disconcerting.
Text message from 4045560162
"Your extra $1,400 is now available from Walmart COVID-19 Relief Program, claim it here: http://bit.ly/walmartextracovid19reliefs".

Text message details show that among 5 phone numbers cc sent this batch of fraud scum.
That among few APPs with access, one has leaked, or is unreliable and is "sharing" or by some means compromised, as "details" indicate my address book has been accessed. Because to help when my current phone was new a few years ago with a new number. I put an odd name & number entry into my address book so I could quickly look it up IN "Contacts/addressBook" if needed to give someone my number and forgetting or wanted to ensure of my number.
No one, nor any hack, should know the weird nickname portion associated with my number UNLESS got it FROM my address book entries.

https://bit.ly/WalmartsCOVID19Benefits
took me to a locked/safe page that has Walmart Relief.Org and ALL offical or what seemed official, to fill out info. They wanted my social so I googled if it was legit. My phone warned me 1st that it was an unknown URL so I shouldn't have even gone to the site. They almost had me. It looked almost exactly like the actual website. WOW this is SAD. Usually you can tell immediately its not legit by the website...

I surely hope that people aren’t giving out their information that these thieves are asking for,
You’ll not receive messages from Walmart like this asking for all of your information just as you wouldn’t receive a message from IRS via message for same kinda info.
Be patient and give these jack legs a run for their money on being a bit brighter than them.
Just saying
