The fake Wells Fargo EAlerts text below from 858-764-0545 is a scam. The fake text, which claims the recipients should contact Wells Fargo because their debit card has been blocked, is being sent by scammers. The scammers' aim is to trick their potential victims into calling them at the fake Wells Fargo telephone in the text.
FRM:WELLS FARGO EAlerts Services SUBJ:#Contact: (858) 764-0545 #Immediately MSG:#Debit-Card Blocked! ALERT ID NO#: fmlf4
If potential victims call 858-764-0545, they will contact the scammers, who will pretend to be Wells Fargo customer service. They will attempt to convince their potential victims into giving them their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fradulently.

I received similar text from 17014095333 with web site stating my WF card is locked. It looks like Chinese or some foreign language. PLESE DELETE.Go online to the bank web page with your login and check. Mine was not locked. .
