Scammers are sending fraudulent Barclays Bank text messages asking potential victims to call 08081689418. The scammers send the fake text claiming someone attempted to log into their online banking account, so they should contact Barclays Bank at 0808-168-9418. But, calling the same telephone number will connect potential victims to the scammers behind the fraudulent text. The scammers will pretend to be from HSBC and attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information, which they will use fraudulently.
