The fake USPS website has been created by scammers to steal account credentials and personal and financial information. If the link in the USPS text message scam text is clicked, potential victims will be taken to the upospos website where they will be asked for their information. If the requested information is submitted, it will be used fraudulently by the scammers. Therefore, recipients of United States Postal Service text messages with a link to upospos.com are not to follow the instructions in it.
