It seems as if scammers are asking potential victims to call 877 274 0671. The scammers send fake text messages to their potential victims regarding some Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) and ask them to call 877-274-0671. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 8772740671 or text messages asking them to call the same telephone number asked not to do so.

I got a message from this number, but did I not call it. Figured it was a scam
Received a text on 2/13/22 at 6:34pm from “ebt71480699@chp.ca.gov”/ Do not disregard!Call 877 274 0671 / EBT-#444-BuL-309
I called and gave them my ebt # and enter pin as well. The next day I changed my pin #. Hope that helped.
