Scammers are asking potential victims to call 8772740320. The scammers send fake text messages to their potential victims regarding some Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) and ask them to call 877-274-0320. Therefore, recipients of text messages from 877 274 0320 or text messages asking them to call the same telephone number asked not to do so.

I received a test msg to call this phone number. I did not call it as I figured it was a scam.
I rec’d the EBT scam number text on my phone Friday Feb 11, 2022 - 4:58pm. I was going to call my local office Monday instead of responding but decided to google it first. Glad I did. However, I figured something wasn’t right. Normally, a letter is sent. When does Snap ever text?? Becareful out there…a lot of scammers.

Got this text at 9:48pm from ebt-14319180-egov.uscis.gov telling me not to disregard. Wasn’t sure why Immigration was trying to contact me and got concerned until I found this. At least I can sleep easy
Received text today in South Orange County. Disregarded and promptly deleted.
