The aim of the scammers is to trick recipients into clicking the link in it. The link goes to a fake or phishing website that looks similar to Huntington's website. On the fake website, visitors will be asked to sign in and submit personal and financial information which will be used fraudulently. Therefore, recipients of the Huntington scam text are asked not to click the link in it, they can share it in a comment below to help educate others, then delete it.
