(Then includes my ph#).

What happens if you call the number to speak with the “agent”. My text included my actual phone number, so calling them back doesn’t give them any new information presumably. Presumably, they’re going to want your personal information or your credit card number or some BS like that. My question is why can’t you call that number and just keep them on on the line for as long as possible just to scam them with lost time. When they ask you for something just tell them hang on I gotta go find it and then leave them hanging on the line for five minutes or so while you go find it. then come back online and say hang on please I’m having problems locating the information you want me to give you so I gotta go find this. then you keep doing that to keep them hanging on the line thinking they have a taker. You just keep doing that and coming up with tantalizing reasons why they need to stay on the line until they realize they’re being scammed for their time. They will hang up.

Received this message on mobile phone just after I was paying bills online via my bank. Maybe coincidence, maybe not. I was not using the phone but rather my desktop computer. I did nothing except check out the number it said to call because - I don't have a debit card! So it had to be a scam.
