The Glacier Bank scam text below, which claims the recipients' account has been placed under review, is being sent by online scammers. The aim of the scammers is to trick potential victims into clicking the link in it which goes to the fake and phishing Glacier Bank website: '8-glacier .site' that steals personal and financial information.

knew right away that it was a phishing attempt. grammar errors as well as no bank is going to use a tinyurl.com link.

I received a text at 10:20pm on Sunday 6/18/23 from " glacier-onlinesecurityalert.com "
it states " GLACIER - Your transfer of $1500 to Joshua completed if not you rectify here
hxxps://gsm-upp.com/x/glacier

I'm Assuming this is a scam and will not be clicking the link - just letting others know this phone text scam's out there...
