Scammers sending the Regions Card Monitoring text scam below to Region's Bank customers. The scam text, which claims recipients should call 877-832-0998, is another attempt by scammers to trick potential victims into calling them. If they are contacted, the scammers will pretend to be Regions Bank's customer service or support representatives and will attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal and financial information.

I received a text stating:(Call 8778320998) TxID:#BTQ444YYQa couple of days ago and I knew it was either a scam or wrong number for "Joy" who used to have my now number so before calling to inform whoever it is they have the wrong number I wanted to double check to verify which it was.Too bad I don't have some fake information to scam the scammer and mess with them like they do others.
