I full on suspected this of being exactly what it is, a scam. The first red flag was that Sunnyfriend.com address. Secondly, I NEVER click on links from unsolicited emails or text messages. I go directly to the "affected" account and look for anything out of the ordinary from there. Please do your research and DON'T CLICK ON THOSE LINKS!
I keep receiving these. Have never clicked on the link, once I replied and said "Stop sending these. They are being turned over to the FBI" and it was kicked back as undeliverable. The following day however my account was actually hacked and I had to go in and secure my account. Not sure how replying would have given them anything though
I received two messages from "sunnyfriend" with the same message. The only difference was the from the sending address and the digits on the send to address. I did not click open any of them.
Received this exact message on my Android phone messaging app, coming from an email address. Wish the sender could be tracked down and arrested.
Received exactly what they said... Dont click on it!
