The fake text messages and website claim the recipients' Apple Pay has been suspended and ask them to click a link in order to re-activate. But, clicking the link on the fake Apple Wallet Support website will take visitors to a webpage that asks for personal and financial information. Any information submitted on the fake Apple Pay website will be sent to the scammers operating it, who will use it fraudulently. Therefore, recipients of a text message with a link to "apple-wallet-support .com" are asked to follow the instructions in it.
