The Webroot scam email below, which appears to have sent from Geek Squad regarding a fake subscription renewal, is being used to trick potential victims into calling a fake Webroot or Geek Squad customer service telephone from a call center operated by scammers. Therefore, recipients of the email scam are asked not to call the telephone number in it, they should just delete the email.
