The SiriusXM "New Password Confirmation" email below from noreply@mc.siriusxm.com is not a scam. SiriusXM said some customers may have received the email stating their email, username, password and/or phone has been updated. This was sent by SiriusXM in error. Your credentials have not been reset and you can log in using your existing credentials.

I just received an email from noreply@mc.siriusxm.com wish was a promo for their mobile app. Since they finally got my email a few years ago for some transaction, I've only gotten billing or payment confirmation emails. They have an unsubscribe button for this but I don't know if I should do that or it will make it worse.
Hover your mouse over the unsubscribed link to see where it actually goes. Your web browser should show you the actually link.
So, is it a scam or not?In one part of this post the heading is "Scam" and in another part of this post it says it's legit, but was sent by Sirius XM by mistake. Confusing? And I wonder why Sirius XM then hasn't sent a clarifying email?AAARRRGGGHHH!
They have posted a message on their website at www.siriusxm.com
