Online Threat Alerts (OTA) - Alerting you to scams and frauds.
Scamming - Fraud
Scammers are sending a fake Geek Squad renewal email claiming recipients have purchased a GS Toolkit. If you have received the email, please do not call the telephone number in it because it is a fake Geek Squad telephone number, just delete it. This is because the fake email is designed to trick recipients into calling the scammers instead of Geek Squad. If contacted, the scammers will pretend to be from Geek Squad and attempt to trick their potential victims into disclosing their account credentials, personal, and financial information.
If you have already been tricked by the GS Toolkit email scam into disclosing your credit card information, please contact your bank for help.

I just received this email. It wasn’t caught by my spam filters and looks sort of authentic. I googled it and the closest match was for Girl Scout leaders and volunteers which I am not so I added spam. That’s when I found this . Thank you for staying on top of these criminals.
