I received a recorded phone call from "JM Legal Team" about a debt lawsuit. My options were to press 1 to speak to someone or to go to their website at www.jmlegalteam.com. I hung up after the recording and could not verify the business through Google and BBB. The website looks professional, but upon further examination, it raised some red flags. The biggest one is that their "home" "sign in" and "contact us" buttons were not functional. When clicked, the last path of the URL changes yet still displays the same front page.

They called me with a local 225 area code but their website lists (866) 781-8637 as their contact information. I called that number and it was connected to a company called Dignified Home Loans. It is based on CA according to BBB but I was unable to verify the phone number with the BBB search or on their website www.dignifiedhomeloans.com. This was a very well thought out scam. It is good enough to catch a lot of people that cannot identify a fake website. The call was recorded but was not AI and was very convincing as a debt collection attempt. Please get this removed as fast as possible.
