Scam alert. I got an official-looking text from Apple Security Alert services saying that my phone was being hacked and to prevent this I need to activate their anti-Trojan program within the next two minutes to prevent loss of data. It sounded fishy, so I ignored it. I called Apple services immediately and they told me that they do not send text like that and it must be a scam to initiate a Trojan virus

Received another scam going around where people are receiving pop up notifications on their cell phones from Apple Security or your bank security. They are prompted to call and set up a payment to avoid jail. Please be careful when giving out any personal information. If you receive any texts or calls like this, report it to your local law enforcement. These people sound convincing, but no legitimate business such as Apple or a bank will contact you and demand money. We are also seeing an increase in Bitcoin scams. Like we have just said, these are almost always scams, so do not give any personal information. If you think it sounds suspicious, it probably is a scam.
